Hikes For Tykes is a program set up to provide a more active and affordable alternative to daycare or some babysitters. Families with children who attend the hike will look forward to having your little ones explore nature with other kids. We are a group of moms, dads, and kids who love the outdoors and enjoy allowing our little hikers to lead the way! We are an easy-going group and our hikes vary in length depending upon how the kids and adults are doing, the weather, etc. We tend to go at our …
The best part for our son about going camping in our new RV is the kids he meets each weekend and gets to play with. We thought that instead of just chancing it and maybe never seeing his new friends again...what about starting a group to meet at a new campsite each weekend this summer? We have a small RV but most of the sites we pick will allow tent camping as well. There is no age limit but so the kids have more in common we were thinking this group would be geared towards K-5.

… We are about building a friendship built on mutual admiration for the outdoors, meeting challenges as a group and conquering trails the majority of Coloradans don't get the chance to see. Most of our treks start at 9 am and end around 7 pm. Each leg of the day is optional and if your time is limited we understand if you have to depart before the trek is officially over. We typically go out to dinner after each trek and get to know each other but once again this is optional for everyone that has …

Hi! My husband and I have two boys, seven and three, and we moved to Colorado from Virginia back in 2009. Each year since being here we've gone out exploring different areas of Colorado in our camper. We always get excited when we pull into a site and see that there's other kids running around so that our boys will have playmates. We live in Southeast Aurora, and I have several camping trips already planned, but it would be great to plan more with other families. Thanks for checking us out! I …
